Meditation
I am not an expert in meditation, but here are my two cents. Frequently, I notice that my thoughts switch rapidly between reviewing past events or planning for the future. I can go really far in either direction before I realize what’s going on.
I used to think that meditation was like trying to get a racehorse into the starting gate. Now, I think of it as being aware that I’m watching a horse who naturally likes to run and resists standing still.
